Monthly Membership Meetings. Meetings are held in either New Orleans or Metairie and usually feature a guest speaker from the legal profession. Lunch is provided.

Newsletter. The newsletter includes information on local paralegal activities, as well as educational opportunities, technology updates, articles of interest for all fields of practice, and local and national issues affecting the paralegal profession.
Networking. Opportunities to develop extensive networking with paralegals and attorneys through meetings, social events, and seminars.
Pro Bono Opportunities, participation in volunteer legal services, charitable events and NFPA's military paralegal outreach program.
Social Events. NOPA holds various social events throughout the year, including a Summer Dinner Meeting with a guest speaker, a holiday luncheon and more. This gives members a great opportunity to meet and network with other paralegals.
Job Bank. This service is free to all members. Employers throughout the city and surrounding areas are invited to notify our Job Bank Coordinator when a position becomes available.
Continuing Education. NOPA sponsors one of the best annual education seminars for paralegals in the area. The seminar is held in the fall and features a variety of topics of interest to paralegals in all fields of practice.
